The project is complete now and 1200 people have clean water. 11 km was dug by hand - 40 men worked each day - one day per week - 280 men in total working every week for about 10 weeks to dig the 11 km ditch by hand and install the pipe.They put on a wonderful party for us a few weeks ago when we were in Honduras.Our annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival is an established community event that seeks to inspire and create dialogue about the important issues of our time.See you at the 5th Annual Festival on November 24, 2018.We host a variety of community events with notable speakers and inspiring films, as well as undertaking larger initiatives such as Pesticide Free Invermere, Wilmer wetlands clean-up and the Lake Enid Restoration Project.Our current initiatives include Climate Action, Radon Awareness, and Connecting with Nature.Drop by the Open Gate Garden on Thursday May 31st between pm and pm to help Brooke weed out some beds.

On Saturday, June 25 the three Rotary clubs of the Columbia Valley (Golden, Radium Hot Springs and Invermere) and a number of Rotary dignitaries including incoming District Governor Kees van der Pol came together to learn more about each other, Rotary International and to vision joint projects for the future.
It was a wonderful day held at the Radium Golf Course.
